Matka Jodi Family Chart

Every jodi from 00 to 99 belongs to a family. A family is built from the two digits of a jodi, their cut digits (add 5 and keep the last digit) and the reversed pairs. Players use the family chart to widen a single jodi guess into a small set of related numbers.

How a jodi family is made

Take the jodi 12. Its digits are 1 and 2, and their cut digits are 6 and 7. Mixing the digits with their cuts gives 12, 17, 62 and 67. Reversing each pair adds 21, 71, 26 and 76. Those eight numbers are the family of 12, and every one of them leads back to the same group.

Doubles and cut pairs such as 00, 05, 50 and 55 make smaller families because some of the combinations repeat. Numbers shown in red are the ones traditionally printed in red on matka charts: doubles like 44 and cut pairs like 38.

A family chart does not make any number more likely. It is a way of grouping jodis so a chart can be read quickly, for example to see whether a family has appeared often or not at all in recent weeks.
